Appointment Changes
Due to the nature of periodontal services, it is not possible for the doctor or hygienist to see more than one patient at any given time. Since we appreciate the value of your time, we do not schedule two patients to be seen at the same time by the same professional. If you are late, it is possible that your appointment will require rescheduling. If you need to change an appointment and are unable to give us a 2 working day notice, a fee of $40 per hour for hygienist time and $98 per hour for surgical time will be charged.

Periodic Periodontal Maintenance and Cleaning Appointments
The need for supportive periodontal therapy appointments to maintain stable periodontal health will be evaluated after completion of active treatment. If you must delay surgical treatment, periodic therapeutic treatment appointments will be necessary to monitor and slow the progression of your periodontal disease until surgery can be performed. These appointments are critical to maintaining periodontal health and would benefit you most by being scheduled at the interval advised by Dr. Sergio. It is best not to change these appointments unless absolutely necessary, as there may be a delay before an appointment is available at the time that is convenient for you.

In order to keep the fee for these appointments as low as possible, these services are to be paid in full at completion of the appointment. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover for these services. We will submit an insurance claim form for you and request that the insurance company reimburse you.
